We are located a half hour south by train, to Bordeaux, a World Heritage UNESCO site.
La Collina Artist Residency
Who should apply?
Artists, writers who are self-directed. You are given the time and space to create.
Visual artists that can share an open concept space with other artists.
Writers will be given a quiet place to write.
Flexibility is key! You will be in a "foreign" country and you will encounter another language, currency, food, etc.
You are not expected to come knowing what you will create. We hope that the environment will guide your work. There is no pressure to present your work though there will be the opportunity.
Cost
$3000. for 2 weeks. Includes private room with bath, all meals, optional French lessons, transportation from Bordeaux airport and a cooking class.
Residents are encouraged to apply for local grants if finances are challenging.
$1600. for 1 week, including all of the above

Residency will take place in March 2027. Exact dates are TBD
