Artist Residency in Harrisville, NH

We offer time and space for you to slow down, create and experience true small town New England living.

Enjoy the charm of a 19th century, art filled home, situated on a lovely lake, adjacent to the the National Historic Landmark village. Harrisville is home to the quintessential General Store (great food) and renovated mills, which host artist studios and an amazing wool shop.

Who should apply?

This is a self-directed artist residency. You schedule your day. Dinners are provided and are a time to come together.

The residency accepts artists/writers of all abilities.

Artists that can thrive in a shared home and working space. Some private studio space is available.

Openness to meeting new people and flexible demeanor is important!

The residence has 3 bedrooms with double beds, 2 shared bathrooms, lots of living room space, and a full kitchen. An enclosed porch and a small screen house overlooking the lake will serve as studios.

Cost: $1750.

Includes: Accommodations, studio space, lunch stipend at the General Store, dinner at local restaurants and catered dinners, introduction to local artists.
